So I had planned to open this blog full of all the awesome things we love about life in our little can but every so often we get a reality check and that happens to be today!
We have truly been very lucky with our caravan adventures, but even with the best intentions and all measures taken what we cannot control is the weather!
This morning our little Myrtle who is permanently pitched took a battering last night and so did our awning! We were not in the van last night, although we had planned to be, but we forgot about the end of the sailing festivities that happen on our little island once a year so we decided to head home instead…..probably in the end a lucky thing!
We’ve had so much hot weather lately that I believe the pegs were just not down secure enough due to the dry weather and therefore the stability was compromised. These things happen!
As a positive mindset coach, I look at our little van with a small amount of sadness but with an overwhelming feeling of positivity….no one was hurt, everything can be fixed….all is well!
Tomorrow is another day!
