{Campsite Review} Kaya Camping, Turkey

So we have just spent the last 10 days at Kaya Camping in Cappadocia, Turkey. There are a few campsites to choose from in the area and we initially were going to go to Panorama Camping. However when we messaged them, their prices were crazy high, their interpersonal skills quite unfriendly (not due to language barriers) and when some friends of ours (who were staying at Panorama) asked the owners if we could go and visit them he refused, saying that no visitors were allowed. There were various other negative things our friends shared with us about Panorama Camping, but this review is not about them, as we didn’t stay there, but about Kaya Camping which was the second campsite we contacted and where we chose to stay. In summary we made the right decision on many levels and we would definitely stay at Kaya Camping again!

Great walks on our doorstep, amazing views of the balloons, and 10 mins from the start of Ian’s race which ran straight past the campsite, so we had a perfect spot to cheer him on part way round!
